Noir & editorial art photographer and avant-garde musician
Eeli Helin is a photographer, a musician, and a writer based in Riihimäki, Finland. Having a degree in photography and being self-taught on other art fields, Helin aims to create holistic experiences more often than not uniting multiple artistic divisions into one coherent gestalt. His photography depicts ingrained stories dealing with varying subject matters, leaving room for each viewer to draw their own expressions and interpretations out of them.
As a musician, Helin is working on a multitude of local and international projects alongside leading collectives with no regard to stylistic or genre specific restrictions. Being a multi-instrumentalist and a vocalist, he covers ground on a vast field of musical leanings, ranging from grindcore and noise to ambient and dark jazz, in such bands as Vorare, Fawn Limbs, Sulphur Nurse, Lung Knots, Fargue, his solo outfit, and more.
